About Me!

I am a junior at Emerson College in Boston, MA. I transferred to Emerson as a sophomore after going to school in Denver for a year and doing what I call “world schooling” for my high school years. I traveled around the world to places like the Philippines, France, Belgium, Mexico, and Costa Rica while doing online school during my freshman and sophomore year. My travel experience has taught me to navigate all types of working and learning environments.

I was pursuing a similar amount of travel with my university education but COVID restrictions altered those plans. Circumstances out of my control forced me to reassess what I wanted professionally and socially. This adjustment strengthened my natural skill sets from traveling  — the digital barrier is quite like the language barrier. Dealing with all types of people, being independent, and respecting others’ culture and/or default position all apply to creating documentaries, short films, and fun videos.

I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities like hiking and snowboarding and I am a licensed Advanced Scuba Diver. I also love cooking, watching movies, and learning new languages. I have a solid grasp on the Spanish language and I am in my second semester of taking French. I intend to continue working on my proficiency for personal as well as professional reasons. After graduating, I hope to incorporate my passion for travel and current events into my work through documentary production, and someday I hope to live and work outside of The United States.
